Walk-In Bio

I have a bio appointment scheduled for 9/2 and found out today that I won't be able to make it because I will be traveling with work For the next 4 or so weeks. My normal location where I am today is literally a 10 minute walk from the ASC I need to be at so I was thinking of attempting a walk-in appointment. I even get out early today (1pm) so it allows me the time to go and do it.

However, I don't want to do it if it is looked down upon and will jeopardise my application or anything like that. I know it won't speed anything up which is fine I just don't want to reschedule only to get another appointment that I won't be able to mkae because I am still on the assignment and I assume putting the bio off is only going to lengthen the process.

So my question is this... Does it jeopardise anything to do a walk-in and would I benefit from it or should I just sit tight and reschedule and hope I can make the next appt? I know a lot of people do walk-ins successfully I just don't know if there is a potential negative outcome. The worst that could happen is they turn me away or are rude to me right?

I have about 2 hours to decide what I am going to do..

if you have your appointment letter, yes try it, bring your ID youR permanent resident card, or passport picture ID if your name changed bring yor marriage certificate, and if they don't allow you, go to another asc center if it's not to far, good luck

It's not seen in a negative light at all. They may turn you away, especially if busy, but that has no negative effect on your app either.

I agree, the worst that could happen is that they say no, but you can give it a try and it won't have any negative effects on your application.

I walked in for my biometrics at the Milwaukee Office, and they let e do them. Like jkelly07 said, just make sure you bring all your documents and appointment letter.
