I also posted this in the Consulate section, but this forum get a lot more readers. Has anyone ever been able to reschedule their interview date sooner? We have been really fortunate so far in that we have gone from NOA1 to interview scheduled in 63 days, but the interview is almost 2.5 months away.

Next question is the Embassy in Ethiopia called my Fiancee today and asked where they could send the interview paper, and stuff. Well in Ethiopia addresses aren't very common, so my Fiancee says she doesn't have one and the lady at the embassy said no problem, they will send it to me?? :o What sense does it make to send her packet 3, to my house in the US? And I am not even there. Won't be for another several weeks, if I am lucky. Has this happened to anyone else? Can't she just go to the embassy and get the stuff in person? Or they send in Email?

In Ethiopia, PO Box is used and very common. Perhaps you have put her physical address (known as the kebele address) in the application instead of the PO Box address. That could be why the embassy is having hard time sending documents to your fiancee. She can call the embassy and give them a PO Box address. If she does not have one, chances are a family or a friend has one she could use.

"...Can't she just go to the embassy and get the stuff in person?..."

Yes she can in person, She can go to the US embassy at Consulate section and ask for her interview paper. She can do that she can show her NVC letter and her Ethiopian passport.
