The i-130 takes about 5 months. On this website, go to immigration timelines and you will swee based on your lockbox, the timeframe. Sometimes it is less than 5 months. Mine was accepted in about 3 months. Good luck!

As you are from Bangladesh, it will take about 8 years after your mom files for you to get a visa. I think it will be the same for your brother, as he will be well over 21 by the time a visa is available; if your mom becomes a US citizen before your visa interview, she can upgrade the petition and it will save a year or so. If your USC sister files, it will take about 11 years. There is nothing to stop your mom and sister from both filing, in case one dies or your mom decides to move back home and looses her greencard.

***** Moving from CR-1 to Bringing Family Members... as OP isn;t talking about a spousal visa *****

I am sure: http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5542.html Where did you read 5 years? The only waiting time coming close to that is spouses and underage kids of greencard holders, which is about 3 years at this time.
