Do roommates count towards Household for AOS?

I'm not to this point yet but after reading some problems other people are having I'd like to get the answer before I have to worry about it, just for piece of mind. Right now me and Ben are living together in an apt with two of our friends as roommates, do they count towards the household? Would I need to make 125% of the poverty line for a household of 4 people? They aren't my dependents, so do they count just because we all live together?

Also just so I don't ask this later in a different thread, but can the co-sponsor be a non family member? I may see if one of my roommates could co-sponsor for him, especially if they are counting as part of the household, I won't be eligible by myself if they count >.<

Household members are persons that rely/depend on you for support. Roommates are not household members.

Any US citizen or Green Card holder can be a joint sponsor.

So in that case my household would just be myself and Ben, so for the purpose of the AOS I would need 125% of a two person household, right? (I'm just making absolutely sure )

Correct. Just the 2 of you... which makes 125% around $18,000+- (at least I think that's the amount. Lol.)
