Im still in the process of getting my K1 stuff ready to be sent out... here's my question... on the plane ticket copies, am i allowed to write on them (ex on the top) to write dates and destination clearly and to circle dates on the ticket copies to make it easier for the USCIS to read them?? or (i think i read this somewhere) is it better to just stick on a sticky note to them explaining the dates and destination to them? I dont want to get an RFE because i wrote on the photo copies.

PS ive seen people say on here that i should post in the Canada section, but for some reason, i can't seem to find it haha... can anyone tell me where to go so i can ask my questions in the canadian section of VJ... Thank you! and good luck to everyone still in the process :)

Writing on the photocopies should be fine, just as well as stickies.

I left room to write the notes. I didn't want the stickies to fall off, so I wrote on the photocopies. I can't see a reason why someone would receive an RFE for that.

ok thank you :)

You're welcome :)

I should also note that I highlighted bits and pieces as well.

For example, my receipts from when I was there. The receipts are in a different language, so I highlighted the date of the receipt, total cost, where it shows my credit card info, and my signature. I made a photocopy of my bank statements to correspond with said receipts. I also highlighted the dates on the boarding passes since the international ones are harder to find at first glance. Just makes it quick and easy for the person reading it. :)

highlighting things and writing dates etc on photocopies is fine. Also include the copies of your passport pages that show the entry and exit stamps. The boarding passes alone are not proof that you actually entered the country. The passport pages will also show the dates.

Ive flown out to the US 3 times and they have never stamped my passport at any time. When he came to Canada, they did stamp his passport with something. But never for me. Is that a problem??

Interesting, I didn't know they don't stamp your passport. Perhaps it's because you're from Canada. It would make sense, because they don't stamp my passport whenever I cross the boarder to Mexico. ... I wonder what they'll do for Mexico/US and Canada/US couples as more and more people use the passport cards to cross instead of the actually booklet.

You could probably call the airlines and ask for official records showing you were on the plane and what not. But generally, the boarding pass seems to supplement the passport.

Have him photocopy his passport with his stamps showing he was visiting you. That would suffice I believe.

Yeah coming from Canada it isn't unusual not to get a passport stamp. You can include the copies where his passport was stamped and the boarding passes for both of your trips. If you have the boarding pass going to the US and the one coming back from the US then that's a pretty good indication that you made the trip. I don't think the USCIS is as strict when it is Canadian/US travel as they are when it is to Europe or Asia.

USA in Cairo is just sucks they are so slow on purpose just to make people frustrated and try to push them to give up.

They give the counsel the right to approve or reject the visa based on what ??? they have requirements for each visa so if you meet the requirements then you MUST qualify but they still throw stones in your road and accuse you are liar and you just want to travel to USA to get the green card

They are giving themselves the right to judge you and control in your life and they are talking about the human rights and the personal freedom and when you contact them they just gave you the same stupid sick standard answer

Simply this rules is just not fair
