For some reasons, my wife has many red, itchy rashes all over her body. The rashes are kind of bumpy and the color grow darker after a couple of days. Attached are the pictures of the rashes. I am not sure what to do but I am taking her to the doctor on Monday. We have tried Benadryll and Gold Bond Anti-Itch but they do not help much. Any suggestion of treatment will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It almost looks like an allergic reaction to a bug bite.

It could be a type of dermatitis / skin infection too.

does she had her vaccines a few days ago?...i have what exactly you are describing...its so itchy, the red spots are thicken...i have it for 3 days...and it subside just when i woke up this morning...i have it almost all over my body...i didnt take anything coz i believe that is just a normal reactions from the immunization...i just drink plenty of water...if she had her vaccines few days ago then that is just also a normal reaction from the MMR immunization...

Go get some Pepcid AC tablets. The tablets have a histamine blocker. Should be I believe at the drugstore aisle where the antacids are. I gave my babe one in the morning and then in the evening. I also used a Benadryl lotion to lessen the itching and tell her to try not to scrath too much. This is actually normal because of the change of environment and her body should adapt eventually and get back to normal.

based on your timeline, it looks like she's here in the states. what state are you in?

i'm leaning towards chiggers or mosquito bites. best thing i've found for those is afterbite.

Thank you the responses, guys. My wife has been here in DMV more than a month, so I am not sure if it has to do anything with adjustment to the enviroment. Her last vaccine was about 3 months ago, so I don't think it is the vaccine that is causing these rashes. We used to have a bed bug but I used chemical to kill them; I am thinking it has to do something with the chemical but I am not sure. For now, I am going to buy Pepcid AC and see how it goes. In any case, it does not get better, I am taking her to doctor.

very unlikely chemical based on the way it has affected her... More likely it is some form of alregic reaction to an insect bite such as a no see-em or something else as was noted by others... benadryl can help, but if the insect has laid eggs in the skin which could happen, then the area needs to be treated properly.. dermatologist is the best bet on monday.

My wife has some itchy on her hands and she used triamcinolone acetonide cream and the itches and red spots go away.

04/10/04: 129F mailed to Nebraska:

07/24/04: RFE

08/04/04: NOA2 APPROVED online

08/17/04: NVC recieved F-129F file

08/20/04: NVC sent F-129F file to HCM

09/02/04: US Consulate in HCMC recieved physical file

09/24/04: PACKAGE 3

09/27/04: D-230 to US consulate in HCM

12/15/04: INTERVIEW -FAILED -they wanted my ex-wife evidents

My ex-wife and son moved somewhere.. can't find them...

8/2005 : our K1 case sent back to Nebraska, USA

2/7/07 wife got pink slip

2/8/07 wife go pickup visa at HCM... visa not ready for you.. we will call you..

2/14/07 wife got the visa on her hand

3/2/07 book airplane tickets , going to see my son and my honey and bringing them to Chicago

3/20/07 I , my wife and son are together here in Chicago and life is good

that particular bug did cross my mind. are you sure you got them all? they are quite difficult to get rid of.

do you live in a free standing home or in an apartment?

We threw away our mattress foam and it seems to help. On other note, health insurance is ###### expensive. I am paying $345 for health insurance.
