I have married for 5years to a US citizen but my husband is in jail, how can i file for my adjustment of status since i have not file b4 and how to go about it thanks in advance

There have been others who have had their petitioner incarcerated at the time of the interview.

can arrange video interview, in real time. talk to the warden first, then set it up with local USCIS office.

Thanks Anh map for that information but do you know how they went about it? I mean did they file anyway or had their spouses go with them on the day of interview? Pls explain some more. Thanks.

Your husband and you file the I-130, I-485, I-765 and 2 x G-325 concurrently.

His biographic information will list the prison as his current address. I don't know since when your husband has been incarcerated, but since you got married I simply assume that you two knew each other before that happened. Thus, you will need to submit evidence of a life together before he got locked up. Let the I.O. worry about how to conduct the interview. It's their job.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans.
