Hi guys,

I am a citizen who is applying for her mother (IR-5).

My case was approved by uscis in June 16. My case was suppose to be

sent in NVC, but it has been already almost a month and they can not

locate my case. I am very frustrated since my case was expedited in uscis.

I scanned my receit 4 times and sent to nvcinquiry@state.gov, then they

told me that I was suppose to send it to nvcresearch@state.gov that I did today.

Also, thanks to your posts I sent an e-mail to supervisor Sue today using nvcinquiry@state.gov

Att:Pl. supervisor Sue, hopefully she is still working there.

I asked an operator to call me a supervisor, but she said that they had many supervisors.

I don't know what else to do, guys. I called uscis, they couldn't give me any info, if my case was sent or not.

I am going to ask my local congressman for help, because I don't know what else to do.

Any suggestions, guys?

Any help will be appreciated.

I had a similar situation. I learned that the last step at USCIS is when they place a bar code on the case. They are then placed with other cases to be forwarded to NVC. The cases will not show at NVC until those codes are scanned in. This can take a long time.

We tried using a Senator. They are useless but it will make you feel you did all you could. In our case by the time they responded the info they had wasnt current. Find your politicians web site. They all have a form to fill out, send in. They all have a staff member trained to placate you. It wil take them a few weeks to get any responce at all. That responce will be the case is under review. Once the politicians staff responds you can call them.

looks like, since 10 June 2011,

casefile movement from CSC to NVC has stalled.

Somethings up, somethings wrong, casefiles are not sent in the 'normal timely fashion'.

Unsure what's up, alas.

If NVC TeleOperator has no record of it, it's not been logged into NVC, which also means it's not hit the building, yet.

Keep calling, every few days, ask for casefile status. When it's finally logged in, they'll tell you the NVC casefile #, you can start with NVC document intake right after.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thank you for your answer. We called a local senator today, signed a consent form. They told us that they would start looking into it, but sometimes it really may take that long. Hopefully, my case will appear soon. I have already all forms filled and all documents ready to go. It is very hard to wait...
