Hi i just got the mail for the Biometrics interview but they scheduled for the day that im not going to be available since im planning on going out of the city. So im thinking about re-scheduling the appointment but im afraid they might re-schedule it for way-later since right now my process is going faster than expected.

Does anyone know what will work? Should i re-schedule it or should i just go to the appointment even though my personal appointment is very important?

it is not complicated: go to your biometrics appointment.

for my experience I read some people do walk-in and the EAD takes weeks to arrive,in my case the EAD arrived after 8 days,my aos went fast too (4 months) and mostly because I went on time to the biometrics and interview.

I would recommend you avoid re-schedule and go for the biometrics appointment

good luck

I also suggest trying a walk-in. Basically go to the biometrics center (on the appointment letter) with your appointment letter (and passport and marriage cert) and ask them whether they would accept you now as you have plans the actual day of the appointment. Some will be fine, some will say no. If they say no then you'll have to either re-schedule you're appointment, or re-schedule your plans... I personally would re-schedule the plans as your status is more important than a trip.. also because sometimes it can take months to get another appointment letter and because sometimes they don't re-schedule it properly and instead say you missed it and your AOS is denied. Up to you of course though :D

Do the walk-in appointment. But if they won't allow you, My biometrics was re-scheduled. The next appointment was about 1 month later. But I guess it didn't make much of a difference because i'm still waiting for interview.
