It is all different, depending on USCIS/NVC/embassy caseload. Often the summer months are busier, so things take longer

Total time from posting I-130 to VISA in hand 7 months 21 days :D

I submitted my I-130 on March 18, 2011 through USPS. I received my NOA1 on March 31 through mail, then my NOA2 on June 2(Notice Date: May 27, 2011), that it was approved! Called today, June 28, 2011, NVC rep told me that they received my papers and processing right now.... Waiting for my case number which would take 10-20 business day. Hopefully, I would get it sooner...

You should have a receipt number on your NOA1 and check your status on the link below.

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

Also, better call USCIS and give your receipt number to find out the status of your petition. Goodluck!

The average from NOA1 to NOA2 is still 5 months I believe, so if your at just over 3 months there's nothing to worry about yet :)

Ours took just over 4 months i think, so yours could be anyday!

There's a March Filers topic, as well, in the Status Reports Sub-Forum.
