Wow congrats!! He must be so relieved. I'm still waiting for my interview date! I think it will be next month. What was his experience like, if you don't mind sharing?

It went very smoothly since the day we submitted the I129F. Never heard nor received RFE from them. Here is his timeline:

01/25/2011 - submitted I129-F

01/27/2011 - NOA 1 received

06/23/2011 - K1 visa approved (already mailed us the NOA2 but haven't receive it yet)

I see that you're from Malaysia too. It needs to wait for how many months to get the interview in KL?

Thanks.

Have a read?

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/264972-shortcuts-when-checking-for-updates-from-the-nvc-and-dos/

then use the telephone.

Dodi's posted how to call, and whom; further down I've posted what you can get, and when.

Have the USCitizen Petitioner make the calls, use my timetick roadmap to figure out where you are, or where you were.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
