hey guys! jenn, it's great to hear from you (and great to hear that you're doing well!), i've been thinking about you a lot because i know ROC is coming up for you & fuat! Good luck with all the paperwork. We don't file until Oct like AandD and I'll probably get started on stuff in the summer. Right now I've got my hands full trying to re-adjust to "Real life" and eventually get a new job. ;-)

Wrapped up our RTW adventure and got back to the states about 2 weeks ago. It still feels so strange to be back...but the adventure was amazing and totally worth it! I've got thousands and thousands of photos to go through...will put them up on facebook when they're ready. (Jenn that should motivate you to come back to FB right? ;-)) Jose Luis and I are doing great, looking forward to our 2-yr wedding anniversary in May.

Hope other folks check in too and can give some updates, i'm dying to hear how everyone is!

Ladies!! I am sitting at my kitchen table and putting together our packet for Removal of Conditions. WOW does this bring back some memories ! It made me think of all of you, of course, and the mornings of waking up and logging on this page before any of us had even gotten the sleep out of our eyes yet.

I am almost done with the packet and hoping to have it in the mail by the end of the week.

Kayla... get those fingers and toes ready. Hoping we won't need them, but doesn't hurt to be prepared :)

Hope everyone is well!

Well Ladies... The packet is in the mail! Finally!!

I still can't believe where the time has gone.

When I finally finished the packet I got so nervous, and then wondered what the heck I was afraid of. We have already made it through the roughest part ( I hope :) )

I took a look at the VSC timeline and they are currently processing ROC applications from JULY 2011. Reeeally???? Oh boy.. it looks like it is going to be the longest wait yet. If it takes that long to get through VSC we'll be able to get ready for him to apply for citizenship before he has conditions removed and the new greencard in hand :)

Who knows. We got NOA2 for the I29F in 25 days...maybe we'll set some new record for ROC too :)

One can only hope!

Oh my gosh its been so long since I posted that I forgot where to click to post. Jenn I'm glad everything is great because I do think about you often.

Karen I'm glad you RTW trip went well! I hope you find a job soon!

Kayla I Aww your post on fb and I pray that the IUI works out because I know all too well what its like to have difficulties conceiving.

Maggie Maggie Maggie, a little baby boy huh? Congratulations and I pray that all goes well for you!

As for us, we went to Jamaica for the 1st time since he's been here and it was great for his family and my dad to finally meet the baby. We don't file for ROC until august and to be honest I can't wait because that means we'll be closer to filing for citizenship and we'll be DONE!

I'm very happy to hear that everyone is doing well.

Frenzy I'm not sure if I told you already but congrats on getting your own.apartment :)

jenn, congrats on sending in the packet! what did you include as supporting evidence? I want to compile a list...

krystle, glad to hear you guys were able to go out to jamaica together! that must have been fun. :-)

we're slowly getting back in the swing of things...i'm just getting started with applying to jobs etc...it's tough because I'm sort of struggling with what it is I actually want to do! but i'm sure i'll figure it out in time. Luckily Jose has plenty of work so I have some breathing room.

take care all!

Well, we just got out biometrics appointment date and OF COURSE it is during the time we were planning to go to Michigan for a family reunion. Oh well...

Family vs. immigration? I think immigration will have to win out.

Here's a list of everything I included in the packet ( This is how I listed it on the cover letter):

* FYI... Fuat lost his greencard, so that is why he has an I-551 stamp in his passport. Don't panic when you see that on my list. Luckily, we had a copy of the front of his greencard, but not the back. Expecting an RFE because of it, but nothing we can do about it. I included a note explaining why, so hopefully that helps.

• Copies of the passport, green card, and temporary I-551 stamp for Fuat Yildiz

• Three sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends, attesting to our relationship and marriage.

• Copy of the drivers license for Jennifer Yildiz and Fuat Yildiz showing joint residence

• Copy of our residential lease showing joint residence.

• Copy of our health insurance cards showing a joint policy.

• Copy of 401K Beneficiary information for Jennifer Yildiz showing Fuat Yildiz as beneficiary.

• Copy of the joint IRS tax account transcripts for 2010 and 2011

• Copies of bank account statements for joint checking & savings accounts with Wachovia/ Wells Fargo bank.

• Copy of the purchase papers of our car, showing joint ownership.

• Copies of various car insurance notices, showing joint insurance on both vehicles.

• Samples of various magazine subscriptions and utility bills showing subscriptions & accounts in both our names

• Various photos and airline tickets for vacations and family events from March 2010 to present.

I hope everyone is doing well and having a great Memorial Day Weekend!

I've got my fingers and toes ready for you, Jenn!!

I checked a couple of weeks ago to see the processing times for ROC and almost passed out when I saw how far behind VSC is. Luckily, since I moved to Indiana we'll be filing through CSC, but still...dang! We get to file on July 6th so I'm just now starting to get everything put together. My goal is to not have to stress when it comes down to the wire, even though I know it'll be just about impossible, for me at least.

Thanks for the prayers, Krystle. This has definitely been a stressful journey for Mathew and I to get pregnant. Turns out it's not just me that's the problem. The doctor said that most of Mathew's little dudes have 2 heads and 2 tails and are pretty much swimming in circles. So based on that and my PCOS we have almost a zero chance of conceiving on our own. We had planned on doing IUI last month, but I didn't ovulate so now my doctor put me on Clomid, which is supposed to force me to ovulate. Today is my first day of it and if everything goes well we should be able to do the procedure in about 10 days. So fingers crossed that it works, and that the IUI is successful. Mathews insurance doesn't pay for any infertility treatments so everything is coming out of pocket and it's getting really expensive. IUI alone is $500 per cycle. I'm just so thankful that he has a job that provides us with enough money so that we can do this, otherwise I'd be heartbroken.

I saw your pictures from your trip on FB, and I'm so jealous of you, Karen!!! It looks like you had an amazing time!

I miss all you ladies, and I'm glad that you're doing well. At least Jenn is back on FB so we can stalk her now.
