No, the embassy just give me a white paper telling me to wait till I can hear from them. And like you, we emailed them and call and they tell us that its still in normal processing. When I called the first time and inquire, the lady said that they need to do document verification!! They also keep my passport. I just hope that the processing will be done and hope that our visa will be printed and delivered.

jameugiekaxavilon, ,maybe have your fiance(e) do an info pass here in the states and see if they will give any information. Does it say administrative process or admin review on your piece of paper? I know there are a few of you from Manila in the same boat and I am curious if your documents all say the same thing or are different. jameugiekaxavilon and MikelanNida, try doing the info pass state side and see what happens. If they kept your passport or are asking for it back that is a good sign. Good luck and I hope you both or if there are more of you get your visa's soon.

Edit below.

I am curious if anybody has bad a lost or stolen visa on the beneficiary or petitioner?

What is that info pass? Is it like the one calling the senator? And yes, during my interview I received a piece paper telling me to wait for the embassy's communication, and the lady told me that they will hold the visa because they are going to have additional processing. Yes, I guess few already have the same situation as mine here in Manila. We are really certain how long would it be get done. So until now we are waiting...

INFO PASS is a in person meeting at a USCIS office with a USCIS officer. In your case it wont do any good but the USC could do it so he can be told that in person. A USCIS officer in the USA isnt going to get involved in a case where the embassy has your passport. What would you expect them to do? The embassy is in control of the situation.

A US politician isnt going to be able or willing to help either. They are a waste of time in most situations. They are the exact same people that havent done anything for 60 years to reform the immigration laws. The USC can always try. He should know who represents him. He would contact them by sending in the required form. That form will tell them your passport is with the embassy in Manila. That will end their will to get involved. He should expect to be contacted within 30 to 60 days of sending in the form.

Hey Mike dont worry as long as they told Nida that she was approved and sent her to the 2go window to fill out she will receive her visa. I found out from USEM in Manila that process times seem to be a bit longer this time of year. Also what helped me was emailing the USEM www.ivmanilareplies@state.gov and put in the subject line this format: LN, FN, Surname (of your fiance) MNL case# K1 Visa - Priority Date

Briefly within 500 words tell them your concern, that your fiance had been approved back on so date and she has yet to receive her visa etc etc etc...they are very good with replying to emails as long as you follow the format I gave above. Usually 1-2 business days. You will also recieve a comfirmation of your inquiry being recieved.I hope this helps you as it did me when we waited 10 days for our visa to be forwarded to 2go , but recieved greta information from the email system better than calling.

Hi jameugiekaxavilon - that white piece of paper did it say "unable to complete the processing of your immigrant visa application (under Section 221(g) of the INA) until you present the following documents? or was it just an AP IV.21 form without needing any additonal documents to complete your case? Were you approved on your interview date but with conditions? It is very important to know what kind of form you were given after your interview in order to assist you further.
