Friday's for departing and Sunday's for returning. More flights on Friday's, so better chance of getting a cheap ticket. Sunday's, because there is less traffic, and fewer flights, so less back-up at customs.

Thank you for the star. Just a reminder, though - baiting is often a two way street. It would go a long way to stopping the attacks if you didn't instigate some of them in the first place by baiting .

Actually, for departing wednesday and Thursdays are the cheapest days to go to philippines.

the cheapest days from coming to US are Sunday, Tuesday, Monday (in that order), But you have to check the airlines and play with days. The best way is to not care on the date to travel. This makes a BIG difference. It gives you the ability to search for cheaper dates around the date. Specific dates on the search make it hard to find deals.

Sometimes just saying I don't care on date, gives you a good option. I think travelocity has this option. Best of luck... I always try to search dates around a date, find the best fares, then I adjust my vacation and travel. Best of luck.
