Not able to prove with evidence of a bonafide relationship, or not being able to prove finacial support and that the beneficiary will not become a burden to the governments welfare system are two that come to mind.

I see you are waiting for RFE. Well the i129 part of it rarely gets refused. Just mainly looking you can prove meeting within two years and both are free to marry and that the name checks do not bring up any blacklisted or ilegal stuff, i think. Most refusals are done at the consulate interview stage if they have doubts that the relationships are real or finances are not there.

yes patiently waiting and bit worried but i know ..it's part of the whole process.Anyway, twas a minor stuff that we missed to include in our packet and my fiance' will send it as soon as he fixed it. Thanks for your speedy reply God Bless!

Oh wow your timelime is very short. Only 3 months i see. You should get results shortly after RFE fixed. Mine took about 16 days after to be approved. Good luck to you both!

You are worrying yourself to much. The RFE will explain it.

I know it can be Frustatrating not to know what it is. I really think you have nothing to worry about.

I THINK you may have missed something in the 129-F that they want is all.

Who was arrested? The US citizen or the person overseas?

How is it offensive to answer the OP's question? The OP asked about possible reasons that a K1 petition could get refused/denied. Someone answered with a criminal history or drug abuse and somehow this is offensive? To who and how?

There was no "conclusion of the matter" in the response.

I'm confused.
