when the online payment portal has the IV fee marked 'paid' -

then

you'll be able to see (a clickable link) and download the barcoded cover sheet and payment receipt.

Get those, put them at the top of the DS-230 package, send them off to NVC.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I received couple of days ago

a email from NVC that says they have received the Affidavit of Support Processing Fee payment(s)... and the Immigrant Visa Processing Fee Payment(s) for this case... and that i must now download and complete......

everything is clear... but which one first?

can i fill the Immigrant Visa Application while i search who will fill the AOS ;-) or should i submit both at the same time?

mm.. ok i think my last inquiry is clear, i think i must firstly fill the IV application..

but now i have another question:

here: (Affidavit of Support Forms (I-864 series forms) - Frequently Asked Questions)

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3183.html#20

says this:

Completing the Forms: Affidavit of Support forms should be completed on a computer, typed in CAPITAL letters. After the form is completed it must be printed and mailed. DO NOT attempt to submit the form electronically.

BUT

here: Affidavit of Support Instructions

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3197.html

says this:

Scan the I-864 to Portable Document Format (PDF) and send it as an e-mail attachment to NVCElectronic@state.gov. Sending physical documents to the NVC will delay the processing of your case.

EP for the PI? Not unless something's changed up for the month of August.

It's confusing, right?

The decision tree matrix on that page would lead one to believe that EP is possible for all, but it's really not.

Sorry.

Here's the offending text:

Mail them to the NVC unless you have joined the E-Mail Electronic Processing program,

with an emphasis on 'unless', here.

you might want to join a NVC Month specific thread, over in the IR-1/CR-1 progress reports subforum, instead of hijaaking a thread that's specific to a 'child of us citizen' thread. you'll find pointed, direct answers from the masters, in an NVC Month thread, there. Hijaaking a thread is really bad netiquette, alas.
