Hello everybody!

well, i sent the DS-3032 and the AOS payment.

now i have three new questions ^_^

1)

On June 23, and the next day i got a confirmation the process has being PAID

in the payment receipt, there are some lines that says:

"Once the payment status is PAID you must print out the document cover sheet and attach it to the documents sent to NVC"

what does that mean, if... i don't know where i read that i have to send nothing else unless is required... so what do i have to do with what the receipt says?

--------------------------

2) in the DS-3032, i put my father (the petitioner) as my agent, but since he does not has e-mail, i wrote my e-mail instead, is that right?

---------------------------

3)

on june 23 i received too an email from NVC with subject: #CASE#NUMBER# (ACL UNIVERSAL)...

it had an attached file, when i printed it out, 4 PAGES, i see is the same my father sent me, the only difference is that:

-in the first page, the one my father sent me has his physical address on it over the barcode, and the one i received by email (the ACL UNIVERSAL one) has my physical address instead.

-In the second page, a continuation with some information

-The third page, the DS-3032 again

-In the fourth page, Visa information (how to contact NVC)

I don't have to send again the DS-3032, do i?

age doesn't matter on this one, alas - it's his legal status in the USA that matters.

Sending him money, if need be, to handle the fees - sure is entirely different matter - I see that - but most of the time, the Petitioner handles the fees at NVC - it's just easier for all. I get it, your Dad may not be able to get it done immediately on the $$ side, but there's got to be some way to make a remittance to him - I pray you find it, and quickly. (My apologies if I sound harsh)

It,s ok, i thank you for the prays, i need it, and i pray too!

Thank you!

re: payment reciept for AOS fee - how did this get to you, exactly ? was an email? a postal letter?

are you paying at the online payment portal ?

if you are paying at the online payment portal - after the AOS FEE IS MARKED PAID - there will 'be' a new think to click - it's two things, really - a payment receipt and a barcoded coversheet. get both, print them out, from the online payment portal.

if you're not using the online payment portal, please say so ? it's not so clear to me.

AOS document Cover Sheet is to be included in the AOS/I-864 submittal to NVC.

Is similar one for the IV/DS-230 packet, as well.

If you're having problems, two things to fix:

1. use IE V 8

2. update to latest version of adobe acrobat reader.

If yer on a mac, get to a PC running winders, soon.

Oh, ok, now is clear for me.

so that document Cover Sheet must be included with the ds-230 and the i864. but they key here is...

prior to send me the i-864 they must accept my DS-3032 doesn not it? and they have not email me back confirming the acceptance/reception of the DS3032

no, I-864 and ds-3032 are seperate, parallel processes, not connected.

DS-3032 added to the casefile is tied to IV/DS-230 fee bill showing up in the portal.

DO NOTE - there are two seperate coversheets, one for AOS, one for IV.

mmm.. it looks, like if there is something wrong....

i have no received a request for the i-864, and the fee amount for the ds-230 it iss still in $ 0.00.

therefore there is only one coversheet available, the one for the AOS fee.

you will not receive any request for the I-864.

Well, you would, in a checklist letter, when something goes wonky at NVC - is similar to an RFE at USCIS.

Get the bardcoded coversheet for the I-864, study it, accept it as 'your personal instructions for what to do'. OK ? Please ?

i think that the only problem here is that the NVC has not received my DS-3032 yet and i sent it by email, the email form with the original DS-3032 attached just in case. that was on June 24 and i have received no response from them.

I was reading this at "http://travel.state.gov/visa........"

"If your petitioner pays the Affidavit of Support fee online, your petitioner will gain access to the Affidavit of Support Document Cover Sheet. The Document Cover Sheet will provide access to the Affidavit of Support Instructions."

exactly what you said. Only that was me who paid that fee, and when i enter to the webpage, as i showed you in the pictore, i dont have that link that shows me the"Affidavit of Support Document Cover Sheet".

i'll download the I-864 to study it, but...

while solving this, let me ask you two questions not necessarily with THIS part of the process

I am unmarried mom, my son is 25yo, if the CSPA apply, when should i "claim" it?

and does all IV require the I-864?

claim it at NVC, get papa involved.

i thought, really, to 'peg' the date, when filing the I-130.

I THINK you must remind NVC about the son, as must pay IV fee on him, if he's coming with you.

He might get waiver on AOS fee, but should pay full price on IV fee.

Hi Darnell!

yesterday, NVC sent me an email saying that have received and accepted the DS-3032, and that now they will send to the address i wrote on ds-3032

Instructions for paying the immigrant visa application processing fee.

But, following your advice of letting NVC know about my son, i first wants to make sure if he applies or not for CSPA, but i have some questions about the CSPA calculator i found, i will need help with the data i have to enter... i'll post again in a few hours.

in the No.1 field (Alien's Date of Birth).

Alien, depends the point of view, but i suppose is not my father, so the question is, what date of birth must be there, mine or my son's date of birth?

in the No.2 field (Date immigrant petition filed).

and N3. field (Date Immigrant Petition Aproved)

what are those dates? is the date when USCIS received the i-130 from by father?

i have some i-797 that says:

I-797

Received Date: July 27, 2007

Notice Date: September 11, 2007

Notice Type: Receipt notice

First line says:

This notices confirm that USCIS received your application or petition....

I-797

Received Date: September 10, 2007

Notice Date: April 25, 2011

Notice Type: Approval Notice

First line says:

The above petition has been approved. we sent the original visa petition to the Deparment of National Visa Center (NVC).........

Also, one of my emails from USCIS says:

"On April 25 2011 we mailed you a notice that we have approved this i130......"

And others emails from NVC says:

A comunication to the Petitioner (my father)

June 24 2011

The immigrant visa petition recently filed on your behalf is now elegible for further processing at the NVC....

And a communication to me:

May 9 2011

The immigrant visa petition filed on behalf of [MY NAME] has become elegible for further processing at the NVC.....

Which one of those dates are what i have to enter to the CSPA calculator?
