Do note that for the UK, you bring things like your birth certificate, I-134, divorce decrees, etc. to the interview. Whilst one of the forms says to mail them in.... no - they have a document check station at the interview.

Good luck!

I answered your question in the UK forum. Repeat--

Sometimes you will read UK postings saying to send in your check list. That’s from an earlier time when London had an actual list (3 pages) that you ticked off the items you had in hand to let them know you were ready to interview. Now the form is DS-2001 and it serves the same purpose, but you don’t put check marks on it. London does request a cover letter with specific information to accompany the DS2001.

In case you're curious about the old checklist--

I just remembered I have scans of the whole nineteen-page paper P3 London used to mail out. It really was a packet and looked as bad as these scans (terrible photocopies). The checklist is photos 3,4,5 and if you enlarge the photos, you can see little tick boxes in front of the items. https://picasaweb.google.com/NichandNick/LondonP3?authkey=Gv1sRgCKrtgIfVw9-wAw&feat=directlink

People used to print my scans to send back instead of waiting for the paper packet. We've always been in a hurry and looking for shortcuts.
