I would say you're on safe ZONE, by Aug 2013..you're PD will be current and you could do adjust the status here in US. Keep praying and make sure you'll not involve in any crime such as Assault, Felony etc, USCIS is very restrict to approve GC if you have one of them charges. Good Luck!!

It depends on your Noa or I-797. If it does not state that your are not eligible for adjustment of status then you are good.

My F2A daughter was also on student visa but was adviced as not eligible for adjustment of status so she went home when her PD dec2008 was current in aug2010.

Not Really.. if a I-485 was NOT submitted then the message/notice would not include information about adjusting.

We didn't apply for adjustment of status but it was stated in her I-797 that my daughter is not eligible. I have the original copy.

ok understood then the determination was made with the information included on the bottom right of page 1 of the I-130 form.

Anybody with an idea when August 2010 priority date will be current for F2A category?

If you find someone who can make that prediction accurately then please let me know. I have some stock picks I'd like to ask them about.

Seriously, you're asking someone to predict the future. The cutoff dates change according to the visa demand. Sometimes they advance quickly from one month to the next. Sometimes they don't advance at all. Sometimes they move backward. Watch the visa bulletin every month. That's all you can do.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!
