Is Disagreeing With A Moderator a TOS Violation?

Is simply disagreeing with a poor decision by a moderator a violation of the TOS? Is the standard for thread banning someone less than what the TOS delineates? I was recently thread banned for pointing out that a moderator had thread banned someone else for using a term that they did not comprehend. If there is a separate standard for thread banning than there is from regular bans, I think this needs to be noted prominently in the TOS.

FWIW - I was threadbanned for calling Otto an achaladka. That isn't a word at all. It's a combination of two words acha and ladka. Together, they mean well behaved boy. It's an affectionate term used by parents and grandparents when their sons/grandsons act right. It was intended to be humorous. What's really funny is that Otto's post (which I responded to) has only one +1... and it was from me.

I would not be surpirsed if you got banned for silly reason. One of the thread I was banned for calling illegal immigrant illegal......lol

I m sorry the Mod had sympathy for illegal user who was looking ways to get away from law.

At that point I even thought of dropping out of the VJ as if mod cannot make a difference between a regular poster and illegal immigrant trying the ways to get away from law, its not worth my time.

Unfortunately mods got the power.........lol

IMO, most depends on 'your approach', 'use of language', and 'historical perception of you by mods' based on your prior posting.

But I could be wrong, aye?

What are your thoughts?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

They could always take the advice from yor siggy before jumping to conclusions....and getting all ban happy.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Ya, but as I said, I could be wrong. Happy to wait for further comment till a Mod or three weighs in on this.
