¡Hola a todos!

I am preparing the paperwork my fiancé will need for his interview in Juárez. As part of the Affidavit of Support, a letter from my employer is required/recommended. What should the letter include? Does anyone have any links to good samples I could show my employer?

I need to get this letter done before the 10th of June (I’m a teacher and my District Office will be closed for most of the summer.)

Thanks in advance!

Ale y Mario :)

Hi. I dont really have any links, but I think the most important is:

Your annual income, since when have u been working there and if the position is temporal or permanent.

Good luck!

Thanks for all responses!

I'm part-time (80%) but I make over $45,000 a year. Also, I'm not tenured (permanent) but I will have the 2011-2012 school year secured with a contract and a salary increase of $5,000.

Will I need a co-sponsor since I am "part-time" and "not permanent"?

Thanks....again!!

Do you meet the income requirements? If so then you won't need a cosponsor. .....best of luck!!!

Here's a link to a sample employment letter: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Employment_Letter My husband used this layout exactly for his employment letter when we were at NVC.
