So, I am prepping for when the NOA2 arrives (a bit early, but it gives me something to do!)

I have noticed various suggestions and guidelines as what to submit with the I-134. My fiance will be interviewing in London. What do I need to send with the I-134 for his interview? I was planning on sending 3 years of tax transcripts, 3-4 current pay stubs and a letter from my employer.

i guess I should also state that I meet (exceed, actually) the 125% poverty guideline levels. Do I NEED a letter from my bank? I have very little in my checking/savings due to the fact that I'm in grad school...well, that and I just about cleaned out my savings for a trip to visit my Fiance in August! Is this letter an absolute must? If so - can the letter just state the opening date and the amount deposited this year - does it HAVE to include my balances?

Thanks :)

You need:

1) I134

2) Letter from employer

3) Paystab (1 is sufficient if it also has YTD earnings info)

4) 2010 tax return

If you meet and exceed 125% it is more than enough. The rest is optional if you did NOT meet requirements. Submitting anything else will not help. One thing though: if you do not want to submit your account info do not put anything on I134 regarding your bank account. Just leave it blank.

I'm petitioner. Can you please explain me what i can do if i don't meet requirements for I-134. I thought that my mother can file I-134 for my fiance. Can I do that?

Then you will fill out the I-134, provide your info, and your mother would fill out her own I-134 and provide her info. She will need to meet the 125% level for herself, any dependents of hers, and your fiance, whatever that makes her household size. This is all assuming your consulate accepts joint sponsors of course.

it means we both have to fill out this form (I- 134). so, I have to send two forms of I-134 to my fiance?

Thank you.

Do I have to notarize I-134 Affidavit of Support?

Are you self employed?

If not, all you need is a letter from your employer. Read the instructions here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-134instr.pdf under 'supporting evidence'

Tax information is not required unless you are selfemployed.

Good luck and good job getting prepared before NOA2. It should speed things up for you guys!

You have to fill out the I-134, since you are the main sponsor and petitioner. You provide your tax transcripts and earnings info, even if you do not meet the requirement. Your mother then fills out her own I-134, and provides her tax transcripts, earnings info, and proof that she is a USC or permanent resident.

No, they do not need to be notarized.
