Hello.

I have an RFE coming in the mail and it's going to be my medical which is out of date. When sending my paperwork for AOS i included a copy of my vaccination records, but i think i've accidently sent the original copy that i got from the doctor and i don't have a photocopy anywhere.

The medical will be hefty enough in price without having to get all the vaccinations again. I'm not really sure what to do here. I'm not sure if it's possible to get a copy from the doctor who did my medical in Australia or would a blood test show what i have had done?

I'm kicking myself for this simple screw up.

Get a titre test, that should save you on the vaccinations.

Since it has been over a year since your last exam, you might have to have the whole exam done over again here in the US. My experience with this was a nightmare. If you do have to get a new exam done, make sure that you find a good Civil Surgeon that is reccomended. I used the one that was closest to my house. Argh!

Good Luck!

For DW, they were able to do a simple blood test in the office that showed which vaccinations she had received. They should be able to do that for you guys too.

First time I got my medical they said I was missing one vaccination and charged me a $100 for a blood test. It showed I didn't need the vaccination. This place was a rip off. I realized that later.

I got RFE for my medical because it ended up being out of date, I found a new place that was much cheaper and my vaccinations were good. Same vaccinations I had before :)

But I got my vaccination records from Finland. I don't knwo what kind of system you have back home but my mom was able to get mine from the health care system and she sent it to me.

You should be able to get a blood titre done to find out your immunisations. Some panel physicians don't keep a copy of the medical (Dr Ograglik in Melbourne did) so you can always call and ask for it to be email to you or mail to your family and THEM email/post it to you.

You don't have a scanned copy anywhere? Or a photocopy in the copy of documents you made before sending everything off?
