We're dealing with it the best we can. It's only been 8 days since I saw him last, but I do miss him like crazy. I'm planning another trip to the US in a few weeks (and hope I don't have any problems at the POE) and he's planning a trip to visit me in Canada in August. I'm trying to keep myself busy as much as possible (I'm not working right now, so it's hard), and I'm just taking it one day at a time. Hoping and praying we all get our NOA2's soon!!!!! :P

@lilly- You know, I've been having it hard lately >_< It's been almost two months that we haven't seen eachother in person. Just have to remind myself that 6 months is nothing compared to the rest of my life

@southcalhog- Same routine for me too....Skype phone calls, facebook message, msn, VJ. When do you get to meet your honey again? And what should we call you? Any shorter name?

@Katman- In some ways you're lucky that you live right next to us in the US. ^_^ Makes travel a lot easier, I'm guessing?

I don't get to see tee rak (my love) until he's approved. :( I hope it goes fast!!! For all of us!

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Yes, it is easier to travel... not like a 14 hour flight across the ocean! I do feel blessed we are 'close' that way, although Vancouver is still far from Texas. Still a 7 hour flight. :( I hope you (and all of us!) get approved quickly so you can see your tee rak soon!!! (L)

@Erica- Aw...hang on, it will come soon! Just keep busy and stay positive. I know that's much easier said than done. I know that feel tho...last time, we went 7 months without eachother. And sometimes it's good if you don't talk all the time. It's easy to get frustrated if you talk on the phone too much because you don't have anything to talk about after a while and you can't touch eachother.

@Katman- Oh, Texas? Wow, that's kind of far actually. Tell him to move to Washington! :D

@Dyanx- Welcome! Your journey will be faster since you're with the CSC ^_^

@Farsider-Welcome! I read your topic. Does that mean you are filing for a K-3? Or CR-1? Or both....(how is that possible?)?

@Tom- Wow...September? I guess I can't complain anymore. I applaud you two for being strong. Half way across the world for 9 months is a struggle.

I last saw Tolga in February. I will not see him until October. But, the upside is, I have a trip planned, and it should be not long from then that he should be here with my daughter and I. We're staying positive and saving up. I'm trying to build my savings and retirement plan to show in my affidavit of support. I hear they are harder on the women who bring men here for support. Old fashioned thinking. Booooo!

Half way across the world for 9 months is a struggle.

Try adding the expectation of a little bundle of joy to the mix. That's the situation my fiancee and I are in. She's 5 months along now and due around October 14. My mother and I are flying over for the birth and (hopefully) her interview. I'm crossing my fingers, eyes, legs, toes (and whatever else that can be crossed) that we'll get to accompany her and the baby back with us when we come home on 11-11-11.

^ X_X not good news for me...I'm just above 125% of the line!!

I don't think it matters how far above the 125% mark you are, just so long as you're above it. It's just like getting a passing grade on a test for your job. All that really matters is that you passed.

Current Status: Married on March 3, 2012. Preparing for AOS.

01-07-11 Met in person for the first time

04-04-11 I-129F sent via USPS Priority Mail

04-15-11 Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail. Notice date 4/8/11.

06-24-11 Touched, Email and text - NOA2 approved in 2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days (77 days total)!!!
