when i came to the US in 2009 my husband and I was having some financial problem because he came out of the military and he was doing construction work which didnt pay that much at the time.I was also looking for work but where I was I couldnt get a job. we live in ohio. so he ask my sister who lives in Texas if I could stay with her a little .while in texas i got a job for which i was saving up to go back to my husband or for him to come to texas to live but things didnt work out that way so i ended up going back to ohio. my question is since i will be removing condition on my green card this year do we have to write an explanation of why i was in texas and provide all the records of phone calls etc to the USCIS? and also do you have to have a joint account?

I agree with ^KK^. The financial type seems to be the most important evidence. As for your living situation, you should send a letter explaining your circumstances. An affidavit from your relative would go a long way verifying it for the IO reviewing your application. A joint bank account is one of the best types of evidence.

I didn't have my affidavits notarized but somestrong evidence besides the affidavits. If you're not notarizing be sure that it is signed...

I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States of America that the foregoing is true and correct.

Sincerely,

They tend to look for a few strong things from what I've read. Joint bank accounts, joint tax returns, proof of same address, insurance held together, utility bills at same place bearing either or both names. Pictures can supplement if you're lacking in some areas, which I was due to financial hardship (we didn't have life insurance and credit cards). And copies of cards and envelopes sent to you from friends and family.
