Hi Everyone,

I'm a May filer too, my application was received on May 16th and I had my biometrics taken on June 20th. I've been expecting an approval for months now and finally got a letter from USCIS a few days ago, I opened it only to find another biometrics letter! I'm so confused and when I call the number on the letter no one seems to be able to give me any answers. I understand that sometimes the finger prints are of poor quality and have to be taken again, but why make me wait nine months before sending another biometrics letter? Does this mean I have to go to an interview, or is it a mistake? My alien number is the same on both biometrics letters, but the case numbers are different, they also both say code 3. Online, my status hasn't changed or been touched since May last year when it was received, but when I call it says "card received at service center", I'm not sure what this means either. The guy on the phone told me to go to the biometrics place and ask them, which I will do, but I just wonder if anyone else has been in a similar situation or has any advice. Thank you!

What is really going on with VSC? No news whatsoever with the rest of May cases here. I called them and was always told "intitial review" status. I am so sick of this waiting game! F*** USCIS!

Great news! Its better than nothing, like mine, completely silence :( Just get all the evidence as requested, we will pray for you for immediate approval. Is the RFE general or specific? Did you submit those requested evidence the first time?

So I was approved on 1/27/12 but am still waiting on my green card.

The letter of approval says to wait 60 days but most people have been getting it within 2 weeks.....starting to get a little worried.

Also can anyone tell me if I can apply for citizenship this July 2012?

Applied for I130 (my wife is a USC), entered USA on 7/7/2009.

Received the 2 year green card with conditions as we had only been married for 1 year at the time of application.

My conditions were removed 1/27/12.

Is it 3 years from removal of conditions or 3 years from entry date to the USA?

So I was approved on 1/27/12 but am still waiting on my green card.

The letter of approval says to wait 60 days but most people have been getting it within 2 weeks.....starting to get a little worried.

Also can anyone tell me if I can apply for citizenship this July 2012?

Applied for I130 (my wife is a USC), entered USA on 7/7/2009.

Received the 2 year green card with conditions as we had only been married for 1 year at the time of application.

My conditions were removed 1/27/12.

Is it 3 years from removal of conditions or 3 years from entry date to the USA?

Yes, some do receive their GC in mail rather fast after the approval notice unlike us. I was worried at once. However, I made a SR to update my address since I moved (much to my surprise that my online status they had it was still initial review), my call was then transferred to a level 2 staff, and she was kind enough helping me to make another SR for the GC to be delivered as well. I got my GC within a week, they mailed it to my updated address; pretty efficient I would say.

If you don't receive your GC after 60 days, feel free to make a SR.
