I agree! This experience is an insane mental challenge. Trying to carry on a full life all the while endlessly waiting to start a new one.

My PD is Mar 9 2006

And I have a question for everyone. My father is a USC and is my petitioner. My brother is the co-sponser for financial reasons. They both live in Atlanta, GA and that is the address I used on my app for where I would be living. I currently live in Canada and just today was extended an offer to attend graduate school at the University of Washington. I want to know if I am allowed to live in a different state than my petitioner? I am financially sound and wonder if being able to show that along with my university offer will help my case or make it worse if they know I intend to live outside of Georgia.

Any feedback is welcome. And good luck everyone!!

No it wont be a problem. How long will you be with your relative before moving to Washington? If you are going straight to Washington just contact NVC and informed them of your situation and new address so that SSN and GC can direct to that address. That's how I understand it works but get some more help from others to be certian.

If Superlongwait is March 9 and from the comments, it seems still waiting for IL, then it will be only 3 weeks. :(

Come on superlongwait, tell us that you have received your Interview Letter.
