Hey Krishhh...Pchelula is always giving us the good news... I am always searching for her posts..:) Good Job P.. Thanks.. And i see a trend being followed by the VB.. So as i said before the January 06 PDs will be interviewed for February... February for March...etc... They are covering December for January... I think they are trying to create some kind of system until they clear the backlog and in February we 06 ers will be getting our ILs or calls to update finger prints etc... The end is slowly drawing near..

I wonder how MariaC's interview went!

Thank you Grace A!

My interview went great, I had every document in place, I had to bring new W2 form & tax returns from 2011 from my father and a new police certificate.

I was asked how many times I visited US and if my daughter ever been to US. And this was pretty much everything :)

2013 will start with the long waited trip to US (for GOOD!!!!)

Hope F1 will have a good movement in the future, and also I hope for a better immigration system as I find it very hard to bear so much waiting for being close to your folks...

Best of my warm wishes to you guys!

Maria

I wonder if they will properly answer any questions. Or just say, yes we are working on it, we are under-staffed, in the near future, blabla.... and no concrete answer.

Also, shouldn't they be doing this on their site, rather than private business website?

If they want to be "transparent" and open then they should publish family based visa demand (that they did 1-2 years ago) just as they did/do with EB category.

But good luck to those with facebook account and their questions.

All and all, I hope for at least 1 month movement/VB for rest of the year.

Gracias

Hi

Below is translation of your post in English...and they will deny for sure as u kept parallel file for him.

They don't agree to any guarantee....Ask him to apply on H1 as that is only category that doesn't affect to family base..

I did same in 2008 ...and i am here since than...can visit my parents whenever i want...

Hello I am a U.S. citizen and asked my son who lives in Colombia. I appeal to you because I need to help me with answers to my many questions. I asked when he was resident and when I became a citizen change his status but the request sent to Colombia because he lives there. Your priority is day 21 of 2009 and is in category F1. He is my only son and I want you with me. Additionally, he has asked a tourist visa because I want to come and visit me. the truth is that I see no impediment to this and do not understand why deny the visa because they do not garantisa that is going to stay here. I can do a request for my child to come visit?. Is there a way to request this? .? É If I guarantee you I will only come to visit and he leaves the country before the date dde give, I can do something about it?.

I agree with this.

I'd be curious about why the F-1 preference category doesn't have as many visas available as the other preference categories. The F-4 category has three times as much available visas each year and the F-2 has five times as much! It doesn't seem as though the F-1 category has a first preference anymore, even though we're unmarried sons and daughters of US citizens!
