We got a reply today to our Ds3032 e-mail. I pasted it below. Is that the normal 'automatic' acceptance e-mail?

The NVC is unable to change an applicant's name without a copy of the

Wow, I had a flurry of activity today.

First, I called the operator at NVC and asked them to change an email address. She was very nice.

Next, I got an email asking for the Choice of Agent thingie, so I emailed that.

Then I got an email with the instructions to pay the AOS.

I paid it online and got a the receipt and a receipt email. I checked online and status shows In Process.

This is so much better than the USCIS stage.

Yay, just got the email from NVC accepting my husband's DS3032 email.

What did it say? Was it the same as mine posted above? I'm trying to discern if we got an acceptance e-mail or just a standardized "hello" kind of thing.

I think yours was just letting you know that they are now processing your case. Did you not receive the info package yet (a pdf with your case #, IIN and beneficiary ID #)?

We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the DS-3032.

Then all of our info is listed (beneficiary name, NVC case #, Priority Date, Country, and Embassy Address).

So I tried to access the Nvc payment portal today, over the weekend it was accessible for me and showed no invoiced bills, as I haven't had either yet. Today its giving me an error saying my case is not eligible for further processing. I called Nvc and they said that is because the bill hasn't been invoiced yet, but I was able to access it before when the bill wasn't invoiced either. Anyone else have this issue?

Happened to me too! Was able to sign back in the next day - and the AOS bill had been invoiced.

Is it maybe something to do with the NVC system that seems to 'lock' you out when they are about to do something on your case? I've seen ppl saying the same thing (getting a SIF) just before they get their case complete.

Is it too early at this stage to go ahead and schedule our medical? Were not out of Nvc yet, but I know londons doctors tend to send patients back to their general physician for extra paperwork, and we feel this may be a possibility for us so we wanted to schedule early. However, I'm concerned that if everything goes well they will ship the medical results to the embassy before the embassy ever has our case. Is anyone aware of anybody else who has tried this? Thanks!

not sure if it'll work for you but here in Philippines, all they need are copy of NOA2, the first email we receive from NVC that has the case and IIN numbers. (plus photos and passport)lots of folks get their medicals advanced for the same reasons. worth to try on your neck of the woods.

I didn't imagine this would be a concern, but now that I'll be putting together my AOS package tonight, I got to wondering:

I filed my taxes for 2010 but haven't received my return yet. So, if I don't include anything for 2010, but just explain in my cover letter that this is the case, I should be okay, yes?

My husband thinks I nagged him too much about filing his 2010 taxes early...little did he know...

Anyways, what we sent in was the 2010 tax return, his W-2, and 1099INT and 1099DIV. You can bring the 2010 transcript to the interview. I wouldn't leave it blank and explain anything on the cover letter, it may cause an RFE.

Np, I had the same concern about that too when we were putting together the AOS package - But I later found that you can include all of the papers you used to file your 2010 taxes, then request from the IRS the transcript for the interview when you receive your refund.

One of my collection of RFEs is the missing tax 2010 , I advice you to add whatever evidence you have.
