I'd park there anyway.

I also question what their definition is. My car gets 31mpg, is that enough?

The yuppie area around here that houses all the Cali transplants escaping from California has that ####### too in front of some businesses.

Seems silly. I see this at Target stores as well. I doubt any meaningful amount of air pollution will come from driving a gas-guzzler from the end of the parking lot to the front of it- more so than the heavy amount of pollution it already puts out while driving about town!

Do consider though- particularly those of you that love letting businesses set their own rules... you are parking on private property. If there's a tow sign and your car is clearly not the kind of car specified in the sign, you might be really dumb if you think you are going to prove a point for their silliness.

where's the reserved for humongous pickup trucks parking sign?

I think there's a protest for this weekend.... Just down the street from the "we need to sell our F-250s fast before we get raped even more by gas prices" convention.

So I shouldn't park the sl500 there????

shouldn't the spots be reserved for the lower gas efficiency cars? More driving=more pollution. Seems to be they have it back azzward ;)

On a different tangent, I loved the 'parking for expectant mothers only' signs at the baby stores (when I was preggo). THAT was awesome.

My 68 Camaro with a big block that gets way less than 10 MPG doesnt qualify? What happens if I park there? I lose my rewards card?

Not like the police can do anything is there?

Are you in the habit of going on private property and breaking the rules of the owners of that property?

I avoid the employee of the month spots... but dont feel the need to avoid a fuel efficiency spot

The proud state of Texas should not allow these kinds of businesses to do business in the state. They should send them back to Cali to avoid this type of commie infiltration. It starts with the tree hugger parking spots and ends with job euthanizing state and local income taxes. Stand up against it!
