So federal election commission laws and the constitution only matter when it's a republican in office. I see. You birthers are unreal. You change the metric of what constitutes proof of citizenship when it suits your viewpoint. Seriously, the election was 2.5 years ago, Obama won. Now, 2012 is another story, I suggest you focus your efforts there.

Dude, you left out the "Race" angle this time.... you're slippin.

Let the birthnuts bring up the issue all they want. Amazing how the priorities are being focused on so well. What ever happened to jobs, jobs, jobs?

It sounds like you didnt read the article. I dont think this senator qualifies as what we know as a birther.

And I think you are knee-jerking, as I am not classifying the senator as anything.

I dont think that is going to go over to well in the court of public opinion.

Independent of your reply being strange, what's not going to go well? I thought people cared about the employment scenario in the country. Or does that not matter anymore since its been a bit since last year's elections and the GOP 'winners' haven't done anything to get people working.

Actually the term birther is wider then the whole "was he born in kenya" element.

Right, diversity is one of the tenets of the birther movement. I forgot about the niche of birthers who accept he was born in Hawaii, but believe that during his residence in Indonesia, he gained citizenship there and renounced his U.S. citizenship.

So

Can somebody who believes Obama was born in America be what we have come to call a birther?

I would say yes. What defines a Birther I think currently, is one who believes Obama is not a "natural born citizen". There are a few conspiracy theories that allow for Obama to have been born in the US but not be natural born.

These being the same people that swear black ink was invisible ink. That is being out of touch with reality. In some circles that can be construed as schizophrenia.
