Which line to go through once you get your K1 visa?

My fiance and I have been discussing it, and which line do you go through - the visitor line or the US Citizen line when you have your K1 visa?

I said its the visitor line until you have your greencard.

I asked when we arrived (together.) There is a CBP person at the arrival gate in Orlando to direct people to the proper line. At first she told us "No, you have to go through the visitor's line with a fiancee visa" (even with the USC present.) Once we got in the visitor's line, she came over and asked again "What type of visa does she have?" then told us it was OK to go to the US Citizen/US Resident line.

Also strange (or so I thought) was that the CBP agent tore up her Customs Declaration form and added her to mine in the "Number of people traveling with you" line. I thought that was only possible when everyone shared the same last name even if they are already family, but who knows?

I would suggest asking upon arrival and see what they tell you/your fiance. It may be POE specific...
