Vermont claim to process I.129F applications within 5 months. We filed back in October 2010 and received our NOAR 1 on 28th of that month. We are nearly 6 months into the process and the toll free number is all but useless when it comes to getting any information. Can anyone advise if they are in a similar situation and if so is there anything we can do apart from wait.

Contact your congress person.

Many people are in the same situation.

VSC is processing in 6 months to 7 months for most people. A few have been waiting longer.

We are on the same boat but we only differ from the time of waiting. On April 24 it's our 7months of waiting. We have been calling since we reached the 5months mark but they said that we are still within their normal processing. Only last April 18 we got a service request number. I hope we from them soonest. They said that the fruit of patience is very sweet. So we have to wait patiently to get that sweet fruit of patience.

You could withdraw the petition. That would end all the waiting. Besides that, just keep waiting.

We had our Senator involved: don't know if it helped or not, but we got our NOA2 just yesterday. I think it's worth a shot. Good luck
