Hi guys, i`m glad i have found this website even i think i found it late

i have Question plz if u may help me

i got my visa " praise be to God" , so now what ?

what is this yellow envelop i have found with the visa package? to whom will i give it?

what will happen to me at the airports in Egypt, London and finally the US

may anyone pass by this steps to tell me ?

and what is ur advise for me for the flight, cuz i never been on plane.

whats ur advise for me about the US, cuz i will be new there, know no thing.

At the US POE you will hand over your package to the immigration officer who will process your paperwork.

SSN and GC will be sent to you in the mail after POE.

You can go an apply at the SSA if after a month you do not receive your SSN.

what is this yellow envelop i have found with the visa package? to whom will i give it?

That will be given to the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer when you arrive at the airport in the USA. DO NOT open it.

what will happen to me at the airports in Egypt, London and finally the US

When you transfer in London, you will have to go through security again, just like you will do when you arrive at the airport in Egypt. If your first airport in the USA is also your destination airport, then after you clear Customs and retrieve your luggage, you and your spouse leave the airport and go home. If you have a connecting flight, then after you clear Customs and retrieve your luggage, you go through security again after checking in for your next flight.

Also what about the SSN "social security Number" and the Green card. how can i get them ?

Since you are entering on a IR-1/CR-1 visa, the green card will be initially issued in the form of an I-551 stamp in your passport. The actual card will be mailed to you. The Social Security Administration (SSA) will issue you a card with a number. I have heard that it is also mailed to you shortly after your arrival, but I have also read that it is necessary to visit a SSA office to receive it.

April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

yellow envelop is verry importante do not open it cause you will give it in the american earoport so 7afid 3alih

on the form ds-230 you checked the box you want a social cecurity card,then after you arrive to us it should take about three weeks if not then go to a ss office, with all your documents marriage certificate,passport with stamp 1-155. the permanent resident card should arrive in about 6 or 7 weeks.

thank ya`ll my dear new friends, thanks so much for replaying me

for who asks

my interview was canceled and they forgot about me and just had my new one recently and "praise by to God" it passed so good "MashaAllah"

BUT

now i am worry so much, i know no thing about America , i know nothing about airports or airplanes. i feel i will be in mess

i need ur prayer guys plz

and when anyone have any advise for me just shoot it plz "_" i need it
