Terminally ill, You need extreme extensive care and hes the only one that can provide it for whatever reason.

Generally expedite on medical grounds when the USC is sick you need major evidence and a pretty sever illness to get them to approve it. Even then sometimes they don't approve it.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Hi. I have done a expedite twice & it was sucessful both times. Your illness & documentation is a good way to move your case along so go for it. I moved mine just for them loosing paperwork & getting my senate involved. I also got the consulate to move things along by writing them & having my the senate office working w/ immigration cases call & email as well. Good Luck! Hope this helps.

Hi, we try to expedite our interview here in Costa Rica. We sent an expedite letter to the NVC but the next day, they appointed us an interview before they process the expedite (that's the operator said). We keep calling the NVC and tried to push our expedite but they said they can't do anything about it because they already scheduled our interview. We went to the US embassy here in Costa Rica and they told us they can only help us to move the interview earlier when they receive the package already. So, in your case if you don't have appointment yet, send an expedite letter to the NVC with your supporting documents from the doctor and keep calling the NVC for follow up. If your package was arrived already in the consulate, then you can try to visit your consulate and expedite it. Good luck...

I tried and a letter from a Nurse and doctor but they denied it right off ..... I'm bipolar and have servere anxiety and a heart condition along with other things and this process makes all of it much worse even get suicidal sometimes and having my husband here would stop alot of that and they denied it............So don't know what else to do looking at another year and honestly with my illnesses not sure how to survive that long just for an interview date...........Thanks to everyone who responded I appreciate the help.

As unfair as it is, I've heard that depression/anxiety is not a means for expedite because they think that you knew what you were getting into when you married a foreigner and if it was too much then you shouldn't have done it

Sadly, it is often true. I am sorry it was denied

Good luck
