If you are going to get married in Egypt, then your only option is the CR-1 visa. You would file the From I-130 with the USCIS to start that process.

I dont think fast & Cairo Embassy go in the same sentence other than right here. I did k3 back in 2006. Now I think its only k1 for fiance or cr1 for spouse. Each situation is different depending on many things. How well do ya'll know each other - maybe you both might decide you need more time as an engaged couple before marriage. The visa process is not usually that long, its the afterwards of waiting for background checks called Administrative processing that takes forever.

You have no choice4- the K1 is for fiancees to get married in the USA (it would have been slightly faster, but more expensive), and the K3 is dead, so you will need to go for the CR-1 spousal visa.
