On march 24th we got an email from USCIS with our status update: ‘Document/Card production’ which was very confusing because it doesn’t apply to I-129f…so we were going crazy, called USCIS, even set up 2 appointment at the local field office via infopass…and we did manage to find out, that when they were putting our case into the system, they messed up my fiancé’s ( the petitioner’s ) address with our lawyer’s address ( surprise, surprise ;) ). We would not have found out that they messed it up if we didn’t try to apply one change to our petition while it was still in the CSC … So they did fix the address and sent us the notification (that was what the ‘document production’ referred to – we got it few days later.

Last week we’ve been calling trying to find out some update…since the info on the website was still document/card production, so we just wanted to find out which stage of the process our petition is at right now… My fiancé gave them some hell over the phone and talked to them like 5 times over 2 days (Last Thursday and Friday) … On Saturday we got mail from the USCIS which we didn’t expect…and it said that we contacted them recently about a request – and the request was – expedite! Isn’t that just weird…

Monday afternoon – we got our NOA2!

Yyayayayayayay :) Let the 2nd stage begin!
