I don't understand how they came up with that assumption. He answered the questions except for where you met your ex-husband. They looked at your pictures......They asked where he learned English...I don't get that question either, because if they don't know enough English then they question how they communicate, but then if they speak English well, they question why they speak so well and where did they learn to speak it? It's a catch-22 question....dry.gif

.

I wonder why is Casablanca Consulate so hard like that ?

Find a job you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life.

Did they specify why they thought it was just for "papers"?

It isn't their call whether you can afford to bring him over or not. The guidelines are the guidelines and the opportunity for the sponsor exists for a reason. They can't deny if you have an approved sponsor, right? That seems out of bounds to say...

She said she doesn't believe our marriage, but when hubby asked her at the end for a reason, she said there is a process, and she can't tell him here. She said his wife (me) will find out when our petition gets back to the states. Hubby is not taking this well, and neither am I, but I am kinda worried by how my hubby is taking this....

I would rather not get into specifics on such a personal level on the boards about what he is saying. He is just taking it hard. As am I. First, we will try our hardest to get him another interview. If that doesn't work, we will have to wait for our package to return to the US, and wait for the NOID from USCIS. I have been told by a few people already I may need to look into getting a lawyer. I don't know right now, I just want/need to take one step at a time. Right now, am trying my hardest to keep our petition there. I don't trust that consulate, last petition they sent back, the NVC and USCIS got an empty folder with our names on it

Tany-- I'm really sorry to hear this. Sending prayers/support to you and your husband. I'm actually rather angry on your behalf as well. How frustrating. I hope that when you get information about it that it clarifies things and that a solution presents itself soon.

Oh Tany, this is totally crappy for you. Definitely do what Mrs. Amera always says-- file the FOIA to get the notes and try to discover the real reason it was denied. I can only think of two other 2xs denials and they were not out of Casa... and had interesting circumstances... one was known and one was unknown. So it's better to get the information. I know people do say yeah, try to keep the petition there. There is that 221g thread which should be helpful. Would have been nicer if they would have outright said why. Using your money as an excuse is lame because you met the guidelines.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.
