Called DOS again this morning and got a really friendly lady that told me she could see that our case went from *In Processing* to *Approved* and we should be hearing from the consulate (in her words) "Really really soon!!" smile.gif..... I was hoping for a *it's been printed*.... but I'm happy to have some sign of forward movement!!!!!yes.gif

*fingers crossed* that they will be pushing to get as many visas out before the holiday next week!!!!

Hi from Utah everyone!

S and P, approved status is pretty much printed, this is what the lady told me and by that evening I had the DHL email. Can't believe its taken them this long for yours!

My poe at port huron was super smooth! Got to the boarder around 2pm, honestly waited longer in line going over the bridge and getting to the booth than the actual processing of the visa in the.building. had a trailer full of stuff and they never even wanted me to open it, truck imported with no problems. Travelled 3900 kms in less than 48 hrs.

Only crappy part was Matt and I.had Sunday together then he had to head six hours away for work for ten days. He will be back Wednesday. We are going to get our marriage license Thursday and getting married Friday. So excited to see him in five days and get married on Canada day. Hehehe pretty great choice of date on my part I have to say!

Good luck to everyone who still have their interviews to do, are waiting on their passports or about to POE

Glad to hear you had an easy POE and a safe trip!! good.gif My parents used to keep a boat in Sarnia and we had to cross at Port Huron all the time... it was always a line-up but no where near as bad as crossing in Windsor/Detroit.

Bummer you had to be separated again so soon!!sad.gif

I hope you have a beautiful wedding day!!rose.gif

I thanks for the info! I hope we get notified in the next couple of days!! *thinking positive* yes.gif

Hi all,

I had my interview two days ago (Monday June 27) and already received an email today saying DHL picked up my passport and it is on its way to the Markham, ON DHL location as we speak! The email included my waybill number and a link to tracking. I'm shocked at how fast they got it sent out, and am hoping to be able to pick it up in the next day or two. I will be completely amazed if I can get it this very same week of my interview. Sorry to hear some of you guys have been waiting so long-- I wonder why I am getting mine so fast, but I hope you all get yours very soon as well! I will update here once I've picked it up~ Good luck all

I'm only a week since my interview on Monday and with Canada Day Friday and Independence day Monday, I figured I wouldn't hear much until this week, but I'm -really- hoping to hear early this week because hubby is supposed to be coming up next weekend to move me.. /sigh.

according to a DOS representative, it depends on the person at the consulate handling your file...they go over the docs and stuff... i had my interview 2 weeks ago and as of friday my visa had not been printed yet (according to DOS)...

Wow, that was really fast. Really great! I had my interview the same day as you but no news yet from DHL. I am hoping for this week though, all the holidays this weekend are not helping though  . Well i'll hope for the best though. It's like this visa issuing process is completely random.
