How did you compile your packet?

I noticed some people have paperclipped photos to paper, others put them in a ziploc bag. I guess my main question is how exactly are you sending the packet out? Did you staple any pages together? Paperclip? Send it all loose or possibly in a folder?

The passport-sized photos, I signed and put in a labeled zip-lock bag, and then paperclipped to each of the G-325A forms. The other photos (relationship evidence) were printed out, so we didn't have them loose.

The entire packet was just loosely binder-clipped together. Nothing stapled or paperclipped other than the photos mentioned above. Put the whole thing into a mailer.

Alright, I found out what to do with the photos!

I suppose my last question is - did you send all the paper separately, or in a folder, or possibly clipped together?

I placed our passport photos in a small plastic baggy, then stapled it with the check to our cover sheet. We stapled multiple pages of a USCIS form. All documents were held together using ideal clamps. They worked real nice!

I bound mine with this type of ACCO fastener on the top. I read somewhere that this is what they use to file the packet, and it worked for me.

Many thanks! I will look for something like that this weekend! I'm just waiting on a packet from my fiancee - we filled all of the forms out together last month when I was in Scotland, but somehow forgot signatures!! I'm getting very anxious to get this in!

Office supply stores like OfficeMax have plastic envelopes that have adhesive on the back to attach to heavy paper. I used these on card-stock paper to send all my photos. I top-punched everything and used in a binder with fasteners like those shown in the above post. Must have worked OK, got my NOA2 on the 7th, no RFE!

I did this also...I think it's 'recommended' on the USCIS website. I also put the passport photos labeled in a ziplock back, and stapled to a blank sheet of paper. Good Luck!

I'm about to mail out my petition tomorrow. Uhh, I put all my stuff in a 3-ring binder... holepunched everything except for the forms/letters of intent to marry/cover letter. Now I'm wondering if this is okay or not? Any help on this? It'd be nothing for me to remove it all from the binder and use the fasteners that are spoken of here. I'd have to go buy the fasteners first lol. Anyone ever use a binder?
