Still crossing my fingers that I will get my AP soon...

Is everyone of the New York filers waiting about 4 months for interview to be scheduled after "testing and interviewing" update? Is that like... 90% of the cases? is there anyone who had an interview date within the 30 days? I just wish we knew so we could plan our vacation this summer... Murphy's law dictates that I'll get the interview date on the day I leave the country.

March 23 2013 (day 13) Received Biometrics appointment for April 9 2013

April 9 2013 (day 30) Biometrics completed

June 14 2013 (day 95) Received Form 1-797C Request for Interview on July 17th

Day 1-March 11 2013-Delivered by Fedex at Chicago Lockbox

Day 4-March 14 2013- Received email confirmation

Day 9-March 19 2013-Received Form 1-797C Notice of Action

Day 13-March 23 2013-Received Biometrics appointment for April 9 2013

whao 60days from testing and interview to get a date for appointment is ridiculous. i feel sorry for people of new york. mine took 16 days and am screaming, i live in Houston

Mine was in testing and interview for 90 days before I got an interview and after the interview we are still waiting. It's been 7 weeks with no decision, NYC is insane

Mine was in testing and interview for 90 days before I got an interview and after the interview we are still waiting. It's been 7 weeks with no decision, NYC is insane

i do agree with you. it is very unfair. but theres nothing anybody can do than hope for the best. the number of application received by uscis from New york residence must be immense

I think NYC has caught up to its backlog. A lot of cases getting scheduled for interviews now within the 4-5 month time frame.

Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

I think NYC has caught up to its backlog. A lot of cases getting scheduled for interviews now within the 4-5 month time frame.

I just checked my status on the UCIS website - got Green Card approval yesterday - card should be here within 60 days .....RELIEF!!!!

Thanks so much Sugar Rush! It felt like a long wait - 48 days after the interview to be exact! The post on the USCIS site says the card will be delivered within 60 days. I can wait now that I know it's on its way.....such a huge relief! Hopefully you won't be too far behind us!
