Tourist visa for friend

Hello everybody,

My friend wants to come to the U.S to visit me in summer. However, she is not living in the country where she is citizen of due to her job. Her salary is average nothing fancy and she doesn't own any property. So, what does she need to get a visitor visa?

What country is she from originally and where does she live now?

She needs to apply at the US consulate in the country she is legally in

Two options:

VWP if she qualifies for it or a Visitor Visa.

She should be able to apply in the country she is legally resident in.

I am guessing OP friend has passport from Kyrgyzstan which I dont think is under VWP.

From everything explained by OP it would be difficult for her to get a tourist visa, single, no property, no bond with home country - all this makes her high risk candidate.

Chances of her staying beyond her Visa are very high.
