Plenty of people these days are getting their interview dates before their EADs. Its nothing to worry about. Worst case scenario, you get your green card before your EAD and you've wasted $180.

I'm not sure how you're divining interview dates from this email however.

The back of your green card clearly states the the green card authorizes the holder to work. If you have a green card you do not need the EAD. If this notice is from the CSC you will most likely receive your CGC in the mail after your receive your welcome letter. There usually is no interview for the CSC. BE HAPPY!

Rosita, if you already have your GC, why are you saying you are able to work due to getting a temporary permit? Once you get your GC, you no longer need the EAD.
