Today I sent my I-129F package. I was very careful so am hoping for no RFE's. I sent it through US Mail 2-3 business days and did that receipt confirmation thing. I made 2 copies and sent my Fianceee her copy also. As of now we are officially starting the long and painful wait. I started my timeline with the whole one thing I have so far so will keep it updated. Thanks again to everyone for all of the help.

02-02-07 INTERVIEW (Missed 1st interview, waiting on new interview date)

04-02-07 New INTERVIEW Date.

04-02-07 APPROVED !!!!!

04-27-07 ARRIVED IN U.S.

  • August 4, 2006 sent certified mail I-129F packet Neb SC
  • August 9, 2006 NOA1
  • August 21, 2006 received NOA1 in mail
  • October 4, 5, 7, 13 & 17 2006 Touches! 50 day address change... Yes Judith is beautiful, quit staring at her passport photo and approve us!!! Shaming works! LOL
  • October 13, 2006 NOA2! November 2, 2006 NOA2? Huh? NVC already processed and sent us on to Abu Dhabi Consulate!
  • February 12, 2007 Abu Dhabi Interview SUCCESS!!! February 14 Visa in hand!
  • March 6, 2007 she is here!
  • MARCH 14, 2007 WE ARE MARRIED!!!
  • May 5, 2007 Sent AOS/EAD packet
  • May 11, 2007 NOA1 AOS/EAD
  • June 7, 2007 Biometrics appointment
  • June 8, 2007 first post biometrics touch, June 11, next touch...
  • August 1, 2007 AOS Interview! APPROVED!! EAD APPROVED TOO...
  • August 6, 2007 EAD card and Welcome Letter received!
  • August 13, 2007 GREEN CARD received!!! 375 days since mailing the I-129F!

Thank you both. It does feel good to have it in the mail. I have been so busy with it these past few weeks I didnt know what to do with myself tonight now that its done. I guess now I check the site for "touches" everyday.

Today I sent my I-129F package.

Welcome to the club. I hope things go rapidly. But given that you're with me in CSC purgatory, I suggest you find a new hobby that will take LOTS of time. For instance, you could pick a Russian novel you've always wanted to read. And then start learning Russian, so you can read it in the original. By the time you're done with the book, you MIGHT have your visa. :-)

(Nah, I'm not TOO cynical.)

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

Jul 5 - Receipt date for I-130 petition for my over 21 brother and his wife (both in the UK)

2024

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

Feb 25, 26 & 28 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office, then to my local office, and then just transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing
