IV documents lost??

Hey all

Question, say after I send in my IV documents and later they tell me some documents are missing for example ,,, the marriage certificate was not found,,,, and I know that I sent all of them items requested.....do they really expect me to believe that??? ... and request another copy and might I say ``ORIGINAL`` copy I mean that would be impossible .....???? getting another copy will at least take me a year..???

Never send originals of personal documents like that. Always send copies.

Read through the guides in the link below. Personal documents you send via mail such as birth certificate, pages of passport, proof of naturalization, etc. are supposed to be copies (not originals). The possibility of lost mails is the reason you are to mail copies. However, during the interview, you need to carry with you the originals. It is advisable to also have copies along with the originals during the interview.

Right, for NVC, you send "Certified Copies" or "Original Documents". Obtaining multiple "certified copies" is always a good idea.
