ok i have qucik questions about my story hopefully someone will be able to help me out, and guide me i thought i will give it a try here.

As you can see that the PRIORITY DATES does not like to move forward.."mine is 08 april" i was almost done bringing my wife here as u can take a look at my timeline. I am LPR and i have only this option.

I got my green card in 05 and i was eligible for citizenship in 2010 but i got arrested in 08 and now i have to wait 5 years for the time i got arrested. MY BAD LUCK.. well one lawyer said that i have to wait 5 years what a #######. :dance:

Should i consult another attorney? file my citizenship? or just wait for the priority date?

SO WHAT R MY OPTIONS. i have helped alot of people here and i hope someone can help me or guide me in a right path. Being away from my wife sucks really bad. :crying: :crying:

SO ANY SUGGESTION TIPS IDEAS? IT is SUNDAY and was really deppressed i tought i will share my story.

I cannot even go to sleep now without checking this site LOL :dance: :dance:

If I was in your place I would consult with another attorney (free consultation) to see if they are able to assist with the over-coming of the lack of moral character that was shown back in 2008. Have you been active in your community..? Church.. etc? Most times these organization can provide a letter of character/reference that may help if given the opportunity to over come the perception. That's just me thinking hoping someone else will join along.

IF you wait for your priority to be come current - that's the unknown.

What purpose of you got arrested back in 2008? If you dont want to share in public post, you may pm me, i would definately have your answer. My cousin went through same situation and got his citizenship after one year of arrested.:star:

The arrest should not be an issue, you will need to show it and need Court evidence that you were found not guilty.

yeah i think it was not my fault i was just working at a store. but i had to plea guilty i had no choice, or got o the trail, which lots of money and if jury convicted me i would have been toast.
