You know it is most likely possible in a very nearer future, as my older daughter is staying in Paris (she is 21, and has got her own life here) she is staying in my appartment where I have place for you both, so... who knows...

Got my NOA2 in the mail today!!

Also, I called today (Saturday) on the off chance the NVC had received my packet from the TSC. To my surprise they assigned me a case number yesterday.

So nice to be out of Texas.

Interestingly, it looks like my case was approved at the CSC. At the bottom of the form it references the CSC and their address. I never received any notice that my case had been transfered back to the CSC. Sure enough though, the return address label on the envelope is that of the CSC. No wonder my case got to the NVC so quickly.

Did you call the AVR at NVC or did you speak with someone at NVC to obtain your case number? If it was a person, what does the AVR still say? Just wondering. Congrats!

He said he called today, a Saturday, so it must have been the AVR as operators aren't available on the weekend. The message should go something like this: "The case number assigned by the NVC for this case is XXX##########. Your case was entered into NVC's computer system on MONTH DATE, 2011. The case number assigned by the NVC for this case is XXX##########. Please allow 6-8 weeks from this date for: the beneficiary to receive notification."

Haha, we're trying to figure out what to do for the day. :P

And thank you :D

It's late for today but how about going to Quebec City for a day? Maybe tomorrow? I rented a car there and took my wife there on a Sunday it was wonderful. We saw Chutes de la Chaudiere. We went to that small street by the river with all those restaurants and shops and took the tram up to the big chateau with all the old buildings there. We walked around it was nice. Great view from up there! We also went to Chutes Montmorency. Wow did all these in about 12 hours while stopping from time to time to take photos. It's a nice city to visit especially if you like waterfalls!
