Hi, I'm getting the same message. It means that the page won't be working for awhile. We will just have to keep checking to see if it's working later..:)

hello everyone .

when i am entering my receipt no on the uscis website it is showing "Server is currently unavailable or down for maintenance" what does that mean ?? am i going to get my noa2 soon ??

there server is down for repair

On USCIS is the following information if you go to news and then click on alerts this is what you will see, it gives you information even showed what offices had been closed on Feb 1 2011.

Scheduled Application Outage on Feb 5 and 6.

There will be a scheduled application outage starting on Saturday, Feb. 5, 8 a.m. EST until 9 a.m. EST Sunday, Feb 6. During this time you will not be able to access:

My Case Status,

Change of Address Online,

e-Request,

Processing Times,

Civil Surgeon Locator, or

Office Profiles under Find a USCIS Office.

We regret any inconvenience.

Revd'd Green Cards for wife and stepson today 02/19/2011
