Biometrics are only required for the I-485 and I-765. You don't have to go back. Yes, the EAD usually comes around 90 days, but there is no guarantee. If it doesn't come, you just wait some more. Good luck.

The EAD is processed at the National Benefits Center. The local office only takes fingerprints and sends them back to NBC. Silvana applied late November, so it has been around 70 days or so, which is pretty normal. If you count on it coming super fast, you will be disappointed when it doesn't arrive. Count on 90 days from NOA1 and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised. It will probably come in the next 2 -3 weeks. Good luck.
