This will probably sound like a dumb question...but my husband and I took an infopass appointment for AOS questions and were met with confusion....(The agent actually had never dealt with green card apps before)....anyway, she said that I (the American spouse) would have to file the G-325a Biographic form. Is this true? That was the first and only time I have heard that. I understand for the K-1, but I don't think it makes much sense for me to file another one as I am not the one applying for the adjustment of status.

Thanks for any help.

Step by step guide for AOS from K-1.

AOS is filled out and done ONLY by the Alien Spouse.

Only the USC fills out the I-864 affidavit of support, and provides supporting evidence.

No not needed for the USC.

There's an AOS thread in my signature that has the required documents list.
